Air Ambulance assists male with stab wound in Ventnor

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance along with paramedics and police officers responded to reports of a stabbing in Ventnor. 

A young male in his twenties walked into the Blenheim pub on Monday (November 19) suffering from a stab wound in his side.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance landed at Salisbury Gardens to assist with the medical evacuation of the young male.

A 26-year-old man from Ventnor was transported to Southampton General Hospital by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance where he received emergency treatment.

The injuries are thought to have happened before the man arrived at the High Street and are not considered life threatening.

Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that they received a report of a man on the High Street, Ventnor, suffering from a stab wound.
