Since 2015, David Rogers the owner of All About Catering has dressed up as Santa Claus, going through the High Street of Cowes on Christmas Eve, raising money for The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the Firefighters Charity.
This effort is dedicated to the people who helped save the life of one of his best friends. He even grows his beard all year just for the realistic effect.
Since the first year, his commitment to being Santa has grown ten-fold. He now goes into schools, nurseries and local shops in his own free time throughout
December, bringing joy to children’s hearts. You can often find him changing from being Santa, straight into a dinner service for his paying customers. His first appearance this year was at late night shopping in Cowes on Thursday, November 29.
