Volunteering has many advantages and offers a wide variety of opportunities. On Saturday, January 12, the Isle of Wight Volunteer Centre will be holding their sixth Annual Volunteer Fair at Ventnor Botanic Garden, from 11 am to 3 pm.
Volunteering has widespread appeal. For those lacking work experience, it can boost your CV and offer you a gateway into the world of employment. For those with time on their hands, it can provide fulfilment and the chance to do something worthwhile.
Many organisations and charities will be on-hand at the event to assist all with an interest in volunteering, but not knowing where to start. The fair promises opportunity for all, whatever your age, background, experience or ability.
