A 16-year-old has been arrested following reports of an assault in Bembridge.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We were called at 5.34am Wednesday morning (August 22) to reports of an assault on Heathfield Road, Bembridge.
“A 16-year-old boy from Bembridge has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody.”
