Wightrail model railway celebrates its 50th year

Wightrail Model Railway celebrated its 50th exhibition year with an exhibition at Medina Leisure Centre on November 4 and 5.
They had layouts this year in 009, N, OO and P4 from club members and guests. Children had Thomas the Tank Engine in a scale of 200mph, and a shunting puzzle with the challenge of getting the right wagons in the right place in the fewest moves.
Next year’s show will be on Saturday and Sunday November 2 and 3 at Medina Leisure Center.
