Island charity Friends of the Animals is urgently seeking loving homes for two very special dogs – each with their own quirks, charm, and boundless affection.
Bear, an 11-year-old neutered Staffie, may be in his senior years, but don’t let that fool you – he’s bursting with energy and personality. Known for his chatty nature, he loves to “talk” when he’s excited, or meeting new people.
He’s friendly, playful, and sociable with other dogs. Strong on the lead and full of life, Bear would thrive with someone who enjoys walks and doesn’t mind a bit of vocal enthusiasm.
Micky, a 3-year-old neutered Jack Russell, is a pocket rocket of energy. He adores his walks and needs an experienced owner who understands the breed. Micky is best suited to a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets. He’s clever, loyal, and ready to bond deeply with the right person.
Both dogs are desperate for a second chance – to be loved, understood, and given the stability they deserve and long for. If you think you could offer Bear or Micky a forever home, please call Friends of the Animals on 522511, Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am.
