Pink Power reigned in Shanklin, as more than 60 people – including Batman and a dinosaur – took part in a jog/walk/trot charity event on Sunday.
It was organised by Breast Cancer Now, with participants taking part in the 2½-mile event starting at the Salix Cafe, at Hope Beach, along to the revetment near Yaverland car park.
Sarah Tyrell, local community fund-raiser for Breast Cancer Now, was dressed in pink and supported by fund-raiser, Peter May, who has spent more than a year wearing high heels to raise money for Wight DASH, a charity which supports women and their dependent children who are living with, or have experienced disadvantage or domestic violence.
A total of 54 walkers, six runners and eight dogs took part, raising nearly £1,000 for Breast Cancer Now.
