Ventnor residents and visitors came together on Saturday, December 13, at a Christmas market to support St Catherine’s School for Speech, Language & Communication Needs, raising more than £2,000.
The event featured 25 traders selling Christmas gifts, alongside a raffle with 20 prize winners. Children were entertained by visits from characters including Spiderman and Elsa, while the event’s Gift Elves handed out 200 free gifts during the day.
Live music was organised by Greg Barnes, helping to create a festive atmosphere for those attending.
Event organiser, Tanya Smith, of St Catherine’s, said the response from the community had been encouraging and confirmed that the event is expected to return next year.
