Ventnor Youth FC members are devastated after portable goals were vandalised.
A spokesman said: “It is incredibly sad and upsetting that our portable goals have been dragged from where they were stored, vandalised, and the wheels ripped off and thrown across the pitches.
“As a club, our volunteers work so hard to provide playing opportunities for the children in our community, and these goals serve as vital equipment which has been damaged right before the start of the season.
“Incidents like these not only have a massive impact on the club financially, but also on all of our players who rely on this equipment to be able to train and play the matches they have trained for all summer.
“If anyone has any information please get in touch so we can pass it on to the police.”
