A Royal Navy warship, the HMS Tyne, has moored off Freshwater Bay this week. The Portsmouth-based patrol vessel is thought to be monitoring Russian naval movements around British waters.
HMS Tyne is primarily tasked with protecting fishing stocks and carrying out maritime security operations in waters around the UK.
