East Cowes Sports knocked 21 goals past a valiant Seaview side, there were 11 for Osborne Coburg A, and Vics marched on to the next round of the FA Vase this week. Shanklin Ladies were disappointed to go out in the FA Cup.

Division One’s Ventnor continued their strong start to the season, winning 4-0 at home to Northwood. After a goal-less first half, there were 2 goals apiece for Charlie Urry and skipper, Emerson Tattersall, which secured the points.
Binstead COB won 3-2 at home to Brading, with 2 goals from Scott Saunders and 1 from Dexter Collins.
Cowes Sports Res won 3-1 at home to Bembridge, thanks to strikes from Zak Fever-Norton, Jordan Whittle and Connor Furmidge.
Gareth Bricknell and George Saunders goals saw West Wight win 2-1 away at Shanklin, with Josh Field netting for Shanklin and Max Draper making his debut.
Whitecroft & Barton secured a 3-1 away win at Vectis, with Josh Appell (2) and sub, Dan Pearson, scoring for the unbeaten champions.
In Division Two, goals from Kyle Kilroy (2), Isaac Harvey and Matt Ogden saw leaders, High Park, beat Oakfield 4-3, with consolation goals from Nathan Roberts, Jos Townsend and sub, Stuart Chiverton.
There were goals from Finley Ross (2), Stuart Mansell, Jamie Shotter, and Jacob Orme, for Ryde Saints in their 5-2 home win over Newchurch.
East Cowes Sports won 21-0 away at Seaview, with 9 goals from skipper, Josh Richardson, 3 apiece for Ruben Bryan, Shane Silk, and Macca Barnes, and 1 apiece for Gary Richardson, Josh Vaughan, and Harry Gwilliam.
Sandown & Lake won 8-0 away at Newport Res, with goals from Ethan Dicker, Rob Iley, George Johnson (2), Mason Parker, Brad Jackson, and subs, James Ashley and Jacob Jenner. Sandown’s Karl Butcher and Shaun Kingston were yellow-carded.
Combination Leagues
In Combination One, goals from Liam Slaven and Ash Gulliver saw W&B Res win 2-1 away at Brading Res. Northwood Res won 2-1 at home to High Park Res.
Strikes from Ethan Jones, yellow-carded Dylan Andrews, Shay Dixon, and sub, Jimmy Golding, secured Sandown & Lake Res a 4-2 home win against Bembridge Res.
Osborne Coburg Res won 6-4 at home to Binstead COB Res, with goals from Jim Cantelo (2), Connor Coburn (2), Brad Gamble, and Ben Pomroy.
Combination Two’s Sandown & Lake Res won 6-3 away at Newchurch Res, with a Tom Driscoll hat-trick, 2 from Ash Daniels and 1 from Matt Leslie. There were consolation strikes from Jermaine Jack-Linden, Max Napier, and Dan Mew.
Goals from ex-Bembridge forward, Josh Parsons (2), Harry Youngson and sub, Jasper Irvine, saw Oakfield Res win 4-3 at home to Bembridge A.
West Wight were awarded an away win at Vectis Res.
Osborne Coburg A won 11-3 at home to High Park A, with goals from Liam Reynolds (3), Lewis Kelly (2), Michal Poplawski (2), Jack Davies, Jason Pengelly, and subs, Dan Thompson and Jesuojie Abhulimhen-Iyoha.
Four goals from Harley Kennett, and 1 apiece from sub, George Creighton (penalty) and Paul Foster, saw leaders, Ventnor A, win 6-2 at home to Ryde Saints Res. Josh Tombleson and Ethan Barsdell scored the consolation goals.
Wessex
In the FA Vase, a Jack Mann header, Harrison Yates strike, and Jacob Reynolds, finish saw East Cowes Vics win 3-2 away at Blackfield & Langley, with Newport losing 1-0 at home to Verwood Town penalty.
In the Premier Division, Cowes lost 4-0 away at Fareham.
Women
A delayed kick off saw Shanklin Ladies lose 5-1 at home to AFC Stoneham FA Cup, with the visitors’ victims of those inevitable ferry delays. Keeper, Kirren Shaw, made a series of quality saves, and Dani Melninkaite finished off a pass from Holly Stephan for Shanklin’s goal.
Wight Eagles lost 7-0 at home to Mudeford Phoenix in Division Two.
Fixtures
In Wessex, Cowes travel to AFC Stoneham in the Premier Division, with Vics home to Whitchurch, and Newport away at Romsey Town in Division One.
IW Division One sees Shanklin welcome Osborne Coburg, Bembridge entertain Brading, Cowes Sports Res at home to W&B, and Vectis play Ventnor.
Binstead COB are at home to West Wight in the Gold Cup.
