By Isle of Wight ObserverThe funeral of much loved Isle of Wight firefighter, Trevor Moyce, will take place at Newport Minster on Friday, November 30.
Mr Moyce lost his hard fought battle with motor neurone disease last Tuesday.
The service begins at 2pm and he will be taken by horse and carriage from Newport Fire Station to the church.
The family are asking for donations of potted plants or bulbs to make a flower garden in Mr Moyce’s memory or donations to the Isle of Wight Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The fire service will have a collection point outside the church for plants.
