Police are investigating three burglaries in the same night in Ryde.
A burglary has been reported to police in Dover Street, Ryde, shortly after 4am on Wednesday (July 25).
Captain Stan’s Fish Shop in Union Street was also broken into during a similar time frame.
Entry was gained to the Dover Street flat but nothing was stolen, officers confirmed.
A garage next-door to the flat was also broken into, but again, nothing was stolen.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We are investigating a burglary which took place at a flat on Dover Street, Ryde.
“Police were called shortly after 4am this morning (July 25).
“Entry was gained to the flat and a search took place inside, but nothing has been reported stolen.
“Similarly, a neighbouring garage was accessed but nothing has been reported stolen.
“Officers are on scene and enquiries are on-going.”
