A new uniform for students in both the primary and secondary phase of The Bay
CE School has been announced.

The school says the recently launched new school badge will be an important part in creating a strong sense of belonging and greater cohesion within the wider school body.

Duncan Mills, executive headteacher said: “Despite operating over two sites, the all-through school will have the feel of one school. We have achieved a smart and coordinated look for both the primary and secondary students while still maintaining connections to the current uniform.

“This is about the continuation of a journey for education on the Isle of Wight but it
represents a fresh start for all.”

The school has now set out a clear structure for the uniform.

Year R to Year 5:

  • Sky blue polo shirt with a navy sweatshirt/cardigan with logo

Year 6:

  • Sky blue shirt, house tie and black v-neck jumper with logo

Year 7 to Year 11:

  • Sky blue shirt, house tie and black blazer with logo

Mr Mills continued:  “Announcing our new uniform is an important milestone towards opening the new all-through school and we want our students to feel pride when wearing it.”
