By Isle of Wight ObserverThe Maternity Services department is asking for the return of missing equipment on Monday morning (October 1).
The service took to Facebook to ask the public if anyone could help in returning the “several bits of expensive equipment” that has recently gone missing.
The equipment includes sonicaids and thermometers worth between £400 and £200 each.
They wrote: “We’ve had several bits of expensive equipment going missing recently from maternity including sonicaids & thermometers. Please if anyone can help in returning them we would be really grateful.”
The department is also missing TENS machines and baby blankets which are costing the service money they don’t have to replace.
Equipment should be returned to St Mary’s Hospital.
