Showcasing Isle of Wight food and drink on board St Clare

Wightlink Ferries is celebrating the opening of a new shop, dedicated to selling products produced or supplied by Isle of Wight companies, on board its flagship St Clare on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne route.

A number of local producers and suppliers will be on board to meet customers and talk about their businesses on Friday, 10 February 2017.

“We are proud to support the Isle of Wight’s wonderful companies, producing everything from garlic mayonnaise to delicious ales. Our new shop will showcase their products to hundreds and thousands of customers every year, they will make perfect Island gifts for friends and family,” says Wightlink Operations Director Elwyn Dop.

On board will be representatives from:

  1. Island Roasted Coffee
  2. The Garlic Farm
  3. Wight Crystal water
  4. Island Ales
  5. Island Brewery
  6. Full Spread sandwiches
  7. Calbourne Classics cakes
  8. The Isle of Wight Biscuit Company
  9. Medina Foods (wholesalers)

The producers and suppliers will be on board Wightlink’s St Clare’s 11:00 sailing from Portsmouth, 12:00 from Fishbourne and 13:00 from Portsmouth. The Guith shantymen will also be singing on board during these sailings.
