‘Send it to Downing Street?’

1 min read

Last Friday (Dec 11) the police reported on Facebook that an unexploded World War II bomb had been unearthed in Shorwell. One wag, presumably fed up with the Brexit negotiations, suggested sending it to Downing Street.

A cordon was put around it and a military bomb disposal unit was called to deal with the device.
