The Red Squirrel Property Shop, based in Newport’s St Thomas’ Square, have won the British Property Lettings Award for the Isle of Wight for the third year running.

The accolade is awarded, based on an independent and objective judging process, which focuses on customer service across 25 different criteria. Judges use mystery shopping techniques to identify agents who provide a fantastic service and go ‘the extra mile’ for their clients, with assessments made over a number of months to ensure that agents are rigorously and fairly judged. The awards are designed to be the most inclusive in the industry, with no charge to take part, removing any bias or possible manipulation of results.
The Red Squirrel team performed outstandingly during the process.

Managing Director, Charlie Panayi, said:“Winning the British property awards alone is such a great achievement for the team and just demonstrates, to people that may not use us, just how good our service is. To have won it three years on the trot, as well as winning the sales award, is simply just an amazing feeling. It just confirms to me what I know, that we offer absolutely the best service.
“For the team it’s a fabulous recognition of their hard work, especially through this last year of Covid; it’s testament to how good our team really is.
“To celebrate realistically, I think the first opportunity we have to arrange a social gathering as a whole team, we will do so! Unfortunately there are more than six of us in the team, so we will have to wait another couple of months before we can celebrate properly.

“Thank you again to our amazing team, and equally amazing customers!”
Robert McLean, from The British Property Awards, said: “Winning agents should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition.”

Red Squirrel Property Shop have also been shortlisted for a number of national awards which will be announced shortly.
