A host of ‘sports stars’ took part in this year’s Brighstone’s Quiz Trail.
The scarecrow entries were dotted around the village, and included table tennis players, golfers and jockeys.
An out-of-town judge was brought in to make the decisions, with the winner being entry No 25 on Upper Lane, second place was awarded to No 11 on Galley Lane and third to No 30 on Lynch Lane.
There were around 50 entries into the quiz, with the winner being Maeve, whose aunt lives in the village. The trail raised a profit of £105, which will be donated to this year’s charity, the IW Foodbank.
