By Isle of Wight ObserverPolice have been going door to door in the search for two men suspected of a robbery.
The incident happened on Thursday morning (August 30) at around 11.30am in Newport Road, Cowes.
A 20-year-old man is said to have been robbed at knifepoint by two men who took his coat and the contents.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Officers have been carrying out house to house enquiries on Newport Road in Cowes after a robbery which happened around 11.30am on Thursday.
“A 20-year-old man had his coat and its contents taken by two men, one of whom was described as holding a knife.
“No-one was hurt and enquiries are ongoing.”
