Police release CCTV image after £167 Tesco theft in Ryde

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to identify, following the reported theft of around £167-worth of items from Tesco Extra on Brading Road, Ryde.

The incident happened on Friday, April 24, between 2.50pm and 2.55pm, and officers are appealing for information from anyone who may recognise the woman or who was in the area at the time.

She is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, of average build, with dark blonde or light brown hair, and was wearing a light grey coat.

Officers say the woman in the image may be able to assist with their enquiries, and are urging anyone who can help to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting 44260192218. The Police are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell footage that may assist the investigation.
