The Island’s police force has recruited its newest member, and he’s going to have a unique role.
Marley is a 7-month-old labrador, and is being trained as a victim recovery dog. His role will be very specialised in that he will search for blood, dead bodies and body parts as well as burnt and buried bodies.
He is the only victim recovery dog on the Island and is handled by PC Martin, however his skills will be utilised all over Hampshire and Thames Valley.
