Isle of Wight West MP, Richard Quigley, officially opened Northwood Autocentre last week, a new business launched by Julian and Jocelyn Griffin at the former Philips Fine Foods premises on Newport Road.
Conveniently located between Nodes Road and Newport Road, the site has been transformed into a fully equipped MOT and servicing centre, offering Class 4 MOTs, tyre fitting, four wheel alignment, diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
The business also stocks a range of everyday motoring essentials, including tyres, batteries, bulbs, oils and wiper blades. Northwood Autocentre also offers collection and delivery for customer convenience.
Mr Quigley said: “It’s always great to see new businesses set up, and I look forward to Northwood Autocentre being a huge success, providing great service and well paid, skilled jobs.”
The new business marks a fresh chapter for the well known site and is already proving popular with customers in the Cowes and Newport area.
