Similar to the government lifting lockdown, encouraging everything to return back to normal, and now being alarmed at rising covid infection rates, there needs to be some consistency from John Metcalfe, the Chief Executive of the Isle of Wight Council, Simon Bryant, IW Director of Public Health, Dave Stewart, Leader of the IW Council and Will Myles, Managing Director at Visit Isle of Wight.
Are you seeking to protect the Island community from coronavirus, or, are you more interested in inviting rising infection rates by actively promoting the island as a mass tourism destination?
