Due to a continued increase in enquiries and following a sustained period of growth, we have recruited a new member of staff, and we would like to introduce Chris.
Our new Field Technician, Chris, comes from an outdoor background and brings a lifetime’s experience with him to 5 Star Pest Control. Joint owner, Lin French, said: “We liked Chris from the moment we met him and he’s fitted in well to our existing team.”
To ensure high standards, Lin’s husband, David trains his own staff and Chris is now working out in the field following an intensive eight-week, one-to-one training programme. He is now in a period of consolidation, which will prepare him for the respected British Pest Control Association’s Level 2 examination.
Adam Povey joined 5 Star Pest Control in April 2016, passing his Level 2 Exam the following year. Since then, Adam has become an invaluable and popular member of our close-knit team.
5 Star Pest Control now have three technicians in the field, David, Adam and Chris, with Lin running the office.
Website Reboot
We looked at our website and it was looking a bit rusty. Becky Daley, founder of Digital Eaze and our social media genius has now given it a complete makeover. Becky said: “We’ve updated the website to include the latest, up-to-date information about their services, techniques, and expertise in pest control. From residential solutions to commercial strategies, they’ve got you covered!”
Working in the pest control industry on the Island for more than 30 years, David passed the British Pest Control Diploma Part 2 in 2007, receiving the Charles Keeble Award for the highest pass mark of the year. He is also a qualified pest control Field Biologist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health.
