Kashmir Fringe weekend at Quay Arts

Kashmir Fringe will take place at Quay Arts on February 7 and 8.

The two-day event will feature free live music across three stages inside the Newport arts centre, with a line-up of more than 40 local artists across the weekend.

The event is linked to the long-running Kashmir Café tent, at the Isle of Wight Festival, which is run by Island volunteers and raises funds for Quay Arts.

The entertainment will be provided from a variety of acts as varied as Sea Gels Shanty, Vote Pedro, and Baron Strange & the Blackbyrds.

Food and drink associated with the festival tent will also be available, including locally- sourced produce, and nine ales and ciders.

Organisers say the weekend is intended to bring together live music, food, and drink, while raising funds for Quay Arts, also known as the Steve Ross Foundation for the Arts.
