This month, the historic lawns of Northwood House, in Cowes, will transform into the Roman Senate, as Ad Lib Theatre presents an open-air production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Running from Thursday (June 12) to Sunday, this immersive performance promises political intrigue, betrayal, and drama.

Performances are scheduled for 6.30pm on June 12 to 14 (gates open at 6pm) and a matinee at 2.30pm on June 15 (gates open at 2pm). Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or picnic blankets, as seating is not provided. In case of poor weather, the show will move indoors to the Northwood House ballroom.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for children and students, or £16 for adults including a welcome drink (Friday to Sunday only). Advance purchase of tickets is required. Visit iw.observer/julius-caesar to book.
