Eighty-eight players were whittled down to the final four: Ian Wellby and Gillian McKinney vs Doug O’Keefe and Sally Paul.

The match was well-fought but, in the end, it was Ian and Gillian who were victorious.

After play a buffet lunch was served up, by Mountbatten IW’s catering team.

A total of £3,000 was raised for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, while £1,000 was handed to SWAY.
