Hoy, Svennerstål, King: See more photos from day one at Osborne

The Island’s first ever eventing competition saw all manner of international and homegrown stars gather to compete.

The Osborne Horse Trials in East Cowes on Wednesday (July 25) concluded with our very own Sarah Holmes coming sixth in her section on Dunganstown Fleur.

On Thursday (July 26) she returns to Osborne House on Lowhill Clover for the grand prix event.

See our gallery below for photos of other eventing stars; featuring Andrew Hoy, 59, an Australian Olympian who holds no fewer than three gold medals. There’s also shots of 27-year-old Ludwig Svennerstål from Sweden and Emily King, 22, of Devon.
