Giving Benji and Bali the ‘bear necessities’

Cherry Godfrey has announced a brand-new competition, in partnership with The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary.

The competition is to support The Wildheart Sanctuary’s efforts to bring Benji and Balu, two European brown bears from Azerbaijan, to the Isle of Wight for a happier and more comfortable life.

It is all about learning more about Balu and Benji, and raising awareness of their journey, as well as raising money to make their new home perfect for them.

The competition is simple. Children on the Island are invited to colour in a bear and cut it out to make it 3D! The more creative they get with their designs, the better!

Then all you have to do is take a photo of the finished bear, and send it to marketing@cherrygodfrey.com to be in with the chance of winning one of three great prizes.

Children of all ages are welcome to take part in the competition. Schools around the Island will be invited to participate, but if your child is home-schooled, they can still get involved – contact Cherry Godfrey on 01983 303344 to be sent a pack.

Alternatively, a printable PDF can be downloaded from the news section of their website, cherrygodfrey.com.

To enter, take a photo of your finished bear, and send it to marketing@cherrygodfrey.com by December 20.
