Fitness class raises money for charities

Thirty members of Ali’s Fitness Fusion came together for a Magical Musicals Sunday workshop, on July 21, at East Cowes Town Hall, with visiting FitSteps instructor, Philip Quigley, from Kent.

FitSteps is a dance fitness class, based on Latin and ballroom dances. Following a musicals-themed class, Philip taught attendees a routine from the musical, Kiss me Kate, currently running at the Barbican in London. The event raised £350 for Mountbatten hospice, and £350 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

This is the third annual event run by Ali’s Fitness Fusion; the group has previously supported Wessex Cancer Trust and Ability Dogs for Young People.
