Young rider, Finley Manser Grundy, capped a dominant season with victory in the final round of the Little Fodder DH Series, on Saturday.

The event, held on a newly-designed course in the Forest of Dean, featured a fast-flowing top section with sweeping mounds, followed by a technical single-track packed with roots and flat corners. Despite the unfamiliar setting, the terrain echoed the trails of Finley’s home woods in Brighstone, allowing the young rider to settle in quickly.

Finley led from the outset, opening up an 8-second gap after his first run. He went even quicker on his second, securing the win and sealing the overall Under-8s title, having taken top spot in all three rounds of the series.

His final time was also the second fastest of the day across all age groups – a remarkable achievement and a fitting end to a standout season.
