Robin Hill Adventure Park has revealed two exciting new ventures, as it prepares to reopen in April under new management. With a focus on providing premium experiences for both locals and tourists, the park has announced a collaboration with Alex Kimber, of Heron Food IOW, to introduce a farm-to-fork dining experience, alongside plans to feature in a new documentary about their opening journey.
One of the stand-out additions to the attraction will be The Heron at Robin Hill, a new restaurant with an open plan kitchen and bar, with dining options both outside and indoors. The Heron will be perched at the top of the park, affording sweeping views across the valley and up to Brading Downs.

Focused on ethical, farm-to-fork cuisine, the restaurant’s smokehouse and barbecue grill menus will showcase locally sourced ingredients from Nunwell Farm and other Island suppliers.
Set to launch early this summer, Alex shared his enthusiasm. He said: “Robin Hill is an awesome location, and we are super excited to be working with these guys. This further cements what we aim to achieve on the Island, to deliver an outstanding dining experience for guests using the finest locally sourced ingredients.”
The second big unveiling is Robin Hill’s collaboration with The Isle Film Company to document their transformation. The project will follow the park’s new team – led by local businessmen Lee Priddle and John Smith – as they revitalise the 88-acre country park with substantial investment.
The upcoming season will debut over 15 new attractions, including real mini-diggers, crazy golf, a boat safari, and an indoor ice rink. They join existing favourites including Jungle Heights, the Skywalk, and the Toboggan Run.
Lee said: “Last summer, two Isle of Wight boys, with no experience in running a tourist attraction, bought a much-loved Island treasure in the shape of an 88-acre country park!
“We couldn’t be more delighted about Alex joining us at Robin Hill; he’s an incredibly talented chef and the Heron Food IOW brand is a perfect fit with our ambition to provide a premium offering to our visitors.
“We’ve had a lot of fun shopping and are now installing all our new attractions in time for our opening in two months’ time. It’s certainly been quite an adventure so far and makes an interesting story, which we are delighted to be telling through The Isle Film Company.”
Producer Julia Baker-Smith added: “Having only launched our company in December, we are super excited to be working on this project with the Robin Hill team. We feel this is pure TV gold.”
