Island law firm, Glanvilles Damant, is pleased to welcome Emma Lloyd as their newest family legal executive — an appointment that will enhance the firm’s cross-departmental legal services in direct support of the Isle of Wight community.
Emma brings more than two decades of experience in family law, offering a broad and in-depth understanding of matters such as prenuptial agreements, divorce, separation, financial arrangements, and child-related matters. She also has a long-standing connection to both the Isle of Wight and Glanvilles Damant. Her first job was a receptionist and, thereafter, legal secretary at the firm between 1988 and 1995. Since rejoining the firm, she has quickly established strong working relationships across departments.
What sets Emma apart is her ability to simplify complex legal challenges with empathy and clarity, empowering clients to navigate sensitive issues with greater confidence. Her familiarity with the firm’s culture, combined with her depth of legal expertise, is already supporting an even more integrated and collaborative approach to client service, one that will enhance the provision of legal support to the Isle of Wight community.
Reflecting on her appointment, Emma said: “I’m looking forward to working in a larger office, interacting and collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to provide clients with comprehensive, multi-disciplinary legal support where needed.”
