East Cowes Town Hall closed due to Coronavirus

East Cowes Town Council have agreed that in view of government advice and, as a duty of care to the community, East Cowes Town Hall will close as from today, 17th March, in the first instance, for a period of 12 weeks and will not be open to the public or available for hall hire.

The Town Council meeting scheduled for 19th March will go ahead but, following that, council meetings will be suspended until further notice, pending government or legal directives.

The public toilets in Osborne Rd and the Esplanade will remain open as usual, as will the play parks, skate park, multi-gym and other recreation areas that the Town Council are responsible for till further notice.

The library will close as well as of today, a decision fully supported by the IW Library service. The Esplanade paddling pool will not be opened until further advice is available. Notices informing the public have been put on the front door of the town hall and the Library.
