A national round of applause is being planned for Thursday evening to show appreciation to NHS staff who are working tirelessly to care for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers of Clap for our Carers are asking everyone that can to publicly clap at 8pm on March 26 – whether it is in your garden, from a balcony or in a local park. Remember to keep a safe distance from others of course.
Similar events have already taken place in Spain, France and the Netherlands.
