East Cowes residents turned out to force to help with a beach clean on the Esplanade on a blustery Sunday afternoon.
A total of 25 people took part in the annual event with several new faces participating, and despite the conditions, their spirits were high.
The clean was organised by Michael and Janice Douse, who said: “Many thanks to the 25 lovely people who supported our Esplanade Spring Beach Clean. We all enjoyed our treat of hot drinks and cakes afterwards in the Community Beach Hut.”
