Islanders are being thanked after more than 3,500 toys, valued at more than £35,000, were donated to the IW Radio Christmas toy appeal this year.
The appeal, which ran from November through to early December, received strong community support, helping to ensure that thousands of children across the Island will receive a present on Christmas morning.
Final donations have been sorted, with toys distributed to families and supporting agencies across the Island by today (Friday).
The Christmas toy appeal supports children aged between one and 14, with donations shared through local charities, schools, and social services, to reach families most in need.
Each year, the appeal helps thousands of Island families, and organisers said this year’s response continued a long-standing tradition of generosity within the local community.
