Coffee and cakes raise £300 for café

A cheque for £300, raised from a weekly coffee morning at the Community Hall of Yarmouth and District, was presented to the Alzheimer’s Cafe IW.

The morning was organised by June Ring, who said: “It was raised from just one of our regular Tuesday coffee mornings by selling coffee, cake, and a bring and buy sale.

“It was the most we have ever raised from one of our events, and it was a tremendous effort by everyone involved.”

The cheque was presented to Jane Blackmore, a trustee of the Alzheimer’s Cafe, who added: “Thank you so much; it is a phenomenal effort and will go towards such a good cause.”
