The parish of Newport & Carisbrooke held a number of events in aid of Christian Aid recently.
These included a sponsored walk in very wet conditions, followed by an afternoon tea held at St John’s Church in Newport and a subsequent sale of cakes. A total of £289 was raised for Christian Aid.
