Choir gives support to Admiral Nurses

The Newchurch Male Voice Choir supports all the services and staff who work for dementia patients on the Island, by performing concerts to raise funds for the various units involved.

This year the Admiral Nurses are the chosen charity. These specialist dementia nurses provide life-changing support for patients and their families, whatever the form of dementia concerned.

The choir will be presenting a concert next Friday, October 4, at 7.30pm in the Shanklin Methodist Church in Regent Street. Guest artists will be Double Take (twin sister duo) and Richard Knowles (baritone). There is free entry but with a retiring collection.

Singing brings happiness to dementia suffers and the choir is very proud to be able to assist in a small way to all the efforts made to make suffers lives more comfortable. All are welcome.
