Police are issuing a CCTV image of man they would like to speak to after a shoplifting incident at Sainsbury’s on Union Street, Ryde.
On Christmas Eve (Wednesday, December 24) shortly before 6pm, a man placed around thirty boxes of chocolate, worth £180, in a bag before leaving Sainsbury’s on Union Street without paying for them.
Following enquiries, police are now able to share an image of a man who was seen in the area at the time and who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation into this incident.
He is described as:
- Between 20 to 30-years-old
- White
- 5ft 9inchs tall
- Medium build
- With brown or dark blonde hair
- Wearing a red jacket over a jumper and dark blue trousers
