Police are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop collision that took place in Sandown on Sunday, December 7.
Between 7.20pm and 7.35pm, a car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian – a 14-year-old girl – in Broadway, near to The Heights leisure centre.
The girl sustained cuts to her head and chin, and the car did not remain at the scene after the collision.
Unfortunately police do not currently have a description of the vehicle, however our enquiries remain ongoing.
They are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any or all of this event, or has knowledge of the incident and who is involved.
