Anti-5G demonstration in Newport

Around 25 people gathered in St James’ Square on Saturday to hand out leaflets and collect signatures for the Stop 5G Isle of Wight Petition, which already has over 700 signatures.

Protestors claim 5G is experimental and has not been proven safe by industry or any other authority. They oppose Smart Island Live, which, in their opinion, will expose people to pulsed radiation, which has been shown to be harmful to the brain, heart and other essential organs.

The next anti-5G demonstration in Newport will be at 1pm on Saturday, June 15 at St James Square in connection with Electro-Sensitivity Day.
