Another Sky heads for Strings Bar & Venue

The Isle of Wight has been added to Another Sky’s February 2019 tour – and for guitarist Jack Gilbert, who studied at the Island’s Music College, it will be an exciting home show.

The alt-indie band is scheduled to play at Strings Bar & Venue in Newport on February 24, having made a big impact with their haunting, androgynous sound. They’ve played on Later with Jools Holland, recently signed a deal with Fiction Records and had over 30,000 views on their Najeeb Tarazi-directed music video for ‘chillers’.

Chalkpit Records’ Silas Gregory said of the announcement: “I am thrilled to be able to secure Another Sky for an Isle of Wight show on their 21-date UK tour in February next year, and it’s great to see former Island resident Jack Gilbert making a name for himself in the industry.
