Paramedics from the Isle of Wight ambulance service rushed to Shanklin High Street on Friday (December 21) after reports of a man in the road requiring medical assistance.
The incident happened at around 15.45 just outside Townhouse pub in Shanklin
Southern Vectis posted an update saying: “Route 2 buses will not currently serve Shanklin Library due to an accident on Shanklin High Street. Buses will operate down St Johns Rd from Victoria Rd.
“Route 3 will not miss any stops but will go on a small diversion.”

Shanklin High Street is now clear and buses will now use normal route
