All looking good for Walk the Wight 2021

1 min read

It is looking very positive for Walk the Wight with Mountbatten this year. The latest indication is that most Covid restrictions will be lifted on July 19, and the rescheduled event is on Sunday, September 12. As an outdoor event where everyone is walking together, we believe that it will be entirely possible to go ahead.

This unique and world-famous walk, that annually sees thousands of people walking across the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside, raises thousands of pounds in support of Mountbatten. With a choice of walks and distances, people of all ages and abilities can take part, making this an event for everyone!
Nigel Hartley, CEO at Mountbatten, says: “Your efforts will help raise vital funds to help ensure that no-one is left to die alone, and that both those who are facing death and dying, and family membersand friends who are bereaved, will all have Mountbatten’s expert support.”
