Abseil down the Spinnaker Tower

This May 8, aspiring adventurers will have the chance to take on the challenge of the Spinnaker Tower abseil.

At a height of one hundred metres (330ft), you’ll be able to enjoy views of the Solent, South Downs and the Isle of Wight, at the same time raising much-needed funds for children’s charity, NSPCC.

NSPCC community fund-raising manager, Gemma Graves, said: “We are working with Spinnaker Tower to provide people with a spectacular opportunity for a fun challenge, and to help raise money that will help children across the UK.

“In December, Spinnaker Tower was one of dozens of iconic landmarks that lit up ‘NSPCC green’ to help raise awareness – and we are delighted to be working together again to support children.”

For those brave enough to take on the challenge, raising £295 has the potential to help the NSPCC’s Speak Out Stay Safe programme reach 83 primary school children – helping them to understand how to recognise abuse, and to seek help .

There is a registration charge of £40. For further information, email FundraisingSupportTeam@nspcc.org.uk.
