Wedding bells will soon be ringing out for an Island author and his 26-year-old girlfriend.
An observant IW Observer reader alerted us to the announcement of a forthcoming wedding displayed at the Island’s registry office at Seaclose. Both list their address as on the Island.
Robert William Henry Seely, the Island’s former MP, who now lists his occupation as an author, is to marry Turkish national Zahide Nur Kantarcioglu.
Mr Seely said: “I am looking forward very much to marrying my lovely girlfriend.
“We’re getting married in a church built by my great, great, great grandad and the vicar marrying us will be my third cousin from Yarmouth.”
