To kick off their 50th anniversary celebrations, the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is looking for 50 fearless fund-raisers, to take on their Wildheart Wire Walk on Saturday, May 2 – an epic 70-metre (230ft) high-wire, suspended high above the Sanctuary’s grounds.
The ultimate test of balance and bravery, the Wildheart Wire Walk will be flanked by some of the Sanctuary’s resident big cats, giving participants a truly unforgettable high-wire experience, for those bold enough to channel their inner lemur!
By taking part, participants will be helping the Sanctuary to raise the vital funds needed to enable their charity to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong sanctuary to animals in need.
Head of community, events, and partnerships, Lorraine White, said: “We’re hugely excited to share the first fund-raising event of our 50th anniversary year. The Wildheart Wire Walk is the perfect opportunity for those looking to challenge themselves, and support a great cause at the same time, and the views of our sanctuary and Sandown Bay from the top of the high-wire are bound to be something you don’t forget in a hurry!’
